The real difference is in the details

On the surface, Storable Payments and UnitFull’s payment processing look similar. Both run on Stripe infrastructure. Both handle card and ACH. Both handle autopay enrollment.

The gap is in what each charges on top of that infrastructure.

ACH is where it matters most

Storable Payments charges 2.9% on all transactions — including ACH bank transfers. Stripe ACH is priced at 0.8% (capped at $5 per transaction). UnitFull passes that rate through directly, with no markup.

At 5 facilities collecting $120,000/month in rent:

  • 40% ACH mix = $48,000/mo in ACH volume
  • Storable at 2.9%: ~$1,392/mo on ACH
  • UnitFull at 0.8% capped: ~$384/mo on ACH (assuming ~$96 avg transaction, so cap rarely applies)
  • Difference: ~$1,000/mo, or ~$12,000/year

That’s not a rounding error.

The PCI surcharge you might not be tracking

Storable charges $95–$120 per facility per year for PCI compliance. At 5 facilities, that’s $475–$600/year. It’s a small number, but it’s a fee that exists solely because Storable adds it. UnitFull has no PCI compliance surcharge. Card data never touches UnitFull servers — it goes to Stripe directly — so there’s nothing to certify.

One product, not two

The subtler cost is operational: Storable Payments is a separate product from storEDGE and SiteLink. That means separate logins, separate support lines, and a delinquency workflow that has to bridge two systems. UnitFull’s payment layer is the same system as the FMS — delinquency triggers, failed payment retries, and gate overlocks all operate in one data model.
