UnitFull Privacy Policy
Effective: June 5, 2026
Last updated: June 18, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how UnitFull LLC (“UnitFull,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website at unitfull.ai (the “Site”) and our self-storage management software and related services (the “Services”).
By using the Site or the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Scope — who and what this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information about:
- Marketing-site visitors and prospects — individuals who visit unitfull.ai or submit one of our demonstration or free-test request forms.
- Product account holders — staff of self-storage operators who hold accounts and log in to use the Services.
Information about storage tenants is not covered by this Privacy Policy. When a self-storage operator uses the Services, UnitFull processes personal information about that operator’s tenants and prospective tenants only as a service provider / processor on behalf of the operator. That processing is governed by the Customer Subscription Agreement and the Data Processing Addendum between UnitFull and the operator — not by this Privacy Policy. Tenants with questions about how their personal information is handled should contact the self-storage operator they do business with, which is the business responsible for that information.
This Privacy Policy also does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that we do not own or control.
3. Personal information we collect
3.1 Information you provide when you request a demo
When you submit the demo request form on the Site, we collect: your name, email address, telephone number (optional), company name, number of facilities you operate, and your current facility management software.
3.2 Information you provide when you request a free data-import test
When you submit the free-test request form on the Site, we collect: your email address, company name, number of facilities you operate, and your current facility management software, together with any files you choose to upload (typically a data export, such as a CSV file, from your existing storage-management software). See Section 6 for important information about uploaded files.
3.3 Information collected when you hold a product account
When you or your organization register for and use the Services, we collect account and profile information (such as name, business email, role, and login credentials) and records of your activity within the Services necessary to operate, secure, support, and bill for the Services.
3.4 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider may automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages. The Site’s analytics provider is described in our Cookie Policy, which also describes the cookies and similar technologies the Site does and does not use.
3.5 Information from other sources
We may receive limited business-contact information about prospective customers from third-party business-data sources. We use this information to evaluate and contact potential business customers.
3.6 Information you provide when you request a market-intelligence report
If you request a market-intelligence report through our website (for example, “Get your facility’s free report”), we collect your name, work email, and your facility’s name and address (and, optionally, your title and phone number) so we can prepare and send you a report about your facility’s local storage market.
How we create your report. We use publicly available market information — advertised rates, promotions, and availability for facilities in your area — matched to the facility address you provide, to generate your report.
How we use your information. We use what you submit to generate and deliver your report, to contact you about UnitFull, and to improve our market-intelligence products. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can exercise your privacy rights — including access and deletion — as described in Sections 5 and 11–12.
Accuracy note. Reports are generated from publicly available data and our analysis, are provided for informational purposes, and may not reflect your facility’s current figures.
4. How we use personal information
We use personal information described above to:
- respond to demo and free-test requests and communicate with you about them;
- evaluate, set up, provide, maintain, secure, and support the Services;
- process the free data-import test and prepare results for you (see Section 6);
- bill and administer accounts and process payments;
- send administrative, transactional, and (where permitted) marketing communications, and manage your communication preferences;
- analyze and improve the Site and the Services;
- detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our agreements; and
- comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
5. How we disclose personal information
We disclose personal information to:
Service providers and subprocessors — vendors that process personal information on our behalf to host, operate, secure, support, analyze, and bill for the Site and Services. This includes the AI provider that powers our public web-chat booking assistant, which processes the chat content you enter (such as your name, email address, phone number, and inquiry) to generate responses. Our current subprocessors are listed in our Subprocessor List.
Payment processing. Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. If a UnitFull customer uses the bundled payment-processing option, the processor is the bundled processor UnitFull engages from time to time (currently Stripe; see our Subprocessor List for the current and planned providers). If the customer uses the bring-your-own (BYO) processor option, card payments are processed through the customer’s chosen gateway (such as Authorize.Net or NMI) and merchant account, which UnitFull does not control. In either case, UnitFull does not store full payment-card numbers; card data is handled by the applicable processor under its own terms.
Professional advisors — such as auditors, accountants, and lawyers, under confidentiality obligations.
Corporate transactions — a buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Legal and safety — government authorities or other parties where we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of UnitFull, our customers, or others.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 11.
6. Uploaded files and the free data-import test
The free data-import test lets a prospective customer upload a data export from its existing storage-management software so we can demonstrate how that data would import into the Services. An uploaded export will, in practice, contain personal information about the prospective customer’s tenants (for example, tenant names, contact details, and unit or payment records).
The free-test path itself — including the 21-day sandbox expiry and end-of-test data handling — is governed by the separate Demo Terms of Service. This Section 6 addresses only how UnitFull treats personal information contained in uploaded files.
For uploaded files:
- We use the uploaded file solely to perform the requested data-import test and to communicate the results to the prospective customer that submitted it. We do not use it to contact tenants, and we do not use it for any other purpose.
- We restrict access to uploaded files to personnel who need it to perform the test.
- We retain an uploaded file for no longer than thirty (30) days after the test is completed, after which we delete it, unless the prospective customer becomes a customer and asks us to import the data into a live account.
- A prospective customer may ask us to delete an uploaded file at any time by contacting us as described in Section 16.
If you upload a file, you represent that you have the right to provide that file and its contents to us for the purpose described above.
7. How long we keep personal information
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy — for example, for as long as an account is active, as needed to provide the Services, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution needs. Uploaded test files are kept only for the limited period described in Section 6. When personal information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
8. How we protect personal information
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses a limited set of cookies and similar technologies. Our analytics provider is configured to be privacy-protective. For details on what the Site does and does not set, and any choices available to you, please see our Cookie Policy.
10. Marketing communications
If we send you marketing emails, you can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by contacting us. We will still send you non-marketing messages about your account, requests, or the Services.
11. Your U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on the U.S. state in which you reside, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We honor verified requests as required by applicable law.
11.1 California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients;
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of certain profiling — though, as stated in Section 5, we do not sell or share personal information; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
The California “Notice at Collection” — the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which they are used — is set out in Sections 3 and 4 above. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require us to offer a right to limit its use.
Because California’s exemptions for business-contact and employee personal information expired on January 1, 2023, these rights extend to the business-contact information of operators and prospects, not only to consumer information.
11.2 Other U.S. states
If you reside in another U.S. state that has enacted a comprehensive consumer privacy law (for example, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, and a growing number of others), you may have rights comparable to those described above, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, “sale” of personal information, and certain profiling. We extend these rights to residents of any U.S. state to the extent required by applicable law, and we will respond to verified requests in accordance with that law.
12. How to exercise your privacy rights
To make a privacy request, contact us at privacy@unitfull.ai or as described in Section 16. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding, and we may decline a request where an exception applies under applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request where the law permits; we may require proof of the agent’s authorization. If we deny your request, you may have a right to appeal where applicable law provides one.
13. Children’s privacy
The Site and the Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site or the Services after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
15. Mobile messaging
This section describes how UnitFull handles mobile telephone numbers and SMS (text message) data in connection with our messaging program.
What we collect and how we use it. When a storage tenant provides a mobile number and consents during a facility’s move-in/lease-signing flow, UnitFull’s platform sends SMS on that facility’s behalf: operational alerts tied to the tenancy — such as rent and past-due payment reminders, payment and autopay confirmations, move-in and lease confirmations, and other account or service notices about your unit — and, only to tenants who separately opt in, occasional offers and promotions from that facility. To deliver these messages we process the mobile number and the message content and metadata. We may also send SMS to account holders or prospects who provide a mobile number and consent (for example, in response to a request).
Tenant mobile data is processed on behalf of the self-storage operator as described in Section 2; this section describes the program-level handling that applies to all SMS we send.
We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile information only with the messaging-delivery providers that transmit the messages for us (our SMS and telephony providers, listed in our Subprocessor List), and as otherwise described in Sections 5 and 11. We do not sell mobile information.
Your choices. You can opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. The full terms of the messaging program are in our Website Terms of Use. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
